New Delhi: June 20 is observed as World Productivity Day and this day aims at spreading awareness about the importance of being productive and promoting methods to achieve the same. Did you know that working while listening to music can not only boost your productivity but can also be fun and beneficial for your brain health?

Tips to boost productivity

  1. Take a break: After long hours of work, your mind and body need breaks to re-energize. Fatigue can hamper productivity, so in order to boost it, take naps, walk it out, or do whatever counts as a break for you.
  2. Plan your day: Having a blueprint of your day can help you navigate through it effectively and efficiently. Therefore, plan your day’s activities to make it productive.
  3. Set realistic goals: It’s impossible to complete 1 week’s worth of work in one day. Therefore, when setting targets, make sure that they are realistic.
  4. Hydrate and eat right: Productivity can only come by if your body has been appropriately nourished. To facilitate the same, drink adequate amounts of water throughout the day and consume a healthy and balanced diet.
  5. Don’t forget to workout: Exercise can stimulate the flow of endorphins – the chemical that can have excellent mood-boosting effects on the brain. This can also help improve productivity.
